Fall Trends Lookbook

There are certain styles that are associated with fall. The classic plaid and denim are timeless fall looks that reappear every year. This year we are putting a large emphasis on color. Choice colors for the season include burnt orange, evergreen, mustard yellow, and rich burgundy. These colors are usually associated with changing leaves, autumn bonfires, and beautiful sunsets that become a season regular. They underscore the crisp, cool air that fills out autumn mornings, and the warmer hues make up for the lacking summer sun.

Along with these colors, we see the incorporation of the usual oversized sweaters, denim skirts, and fall boots. These are some of the staple pieces that will get you through the fall, so when you wake up 15 minutes before class, you can throw on any combination of these looks and feel like a fall aesthetic bomb. One of my personal favorites for this season is the revival of the turtleneck. This can be seen rising up in both men’s and women’s fashion. The look can be super casual with a pair of leggings or sweatpants, or can be dressed up with a cute skirt and boots.
